Playing Perfect Dark for the first time in forever and holy hell how did I play N64 FPS games with these controls as a kid.

I prefer playing games on their respective systems. That and my computer isn't the best for emulation. I'll try looking for Turok at my local old school game store.

Beliiiieve me, man. N64 games take nothing to emulate, and Turok 2 on the N64 has a terrible, terrible framerate. I'm talkin ~20 FPS. :S
The games aren't that expensive, either. Should only be $5-10 per game, though Turok 3 is the hardest to find, costs about $20.
