Does waking up from nightmares count? I remember the days where I would break out in a sweat and just stay up all night until the day came, not moving a muscle just in case.

A friend of mine does a lot of lucid dreaming, and sometimes it happens to him. It has something to do with your body paralyzing itself during dreams so you don't move around and hurt yourself.
