Wait....In 1991, Nintendo was working with Sony for a CD peripheral for the Snes, and then Nintendo back-stabs Sony and works with Philips. this explains alot.

I've known this forever. Nintendo is responsible for Playstation existing. Just makes me love ninty more!

actually..it wasn't just Nintendo. After Nintendo blew off Sony they were going to work together with Sega on the Sega Saturn, but last minute Sega dropped them like dead weight too ...thus the Playstation brand was born
