No, it's just everybody else had mostly unreasonable expectations. The conference was fine, peoples' expectations were ridiculous.

All I know was I heard "I WANT METROID/STARFOX/F-ZERO/ZELDA/MARIO THIS CONFERENCE NOW" from a ton of people.
