Nah. Home consoles aren't so popular in Japan anymore, even the Wii launched later over there. Ninty's strategy is probably mostly to focus on the 3DS, which is already selling like hotcakes in the Japanese market.

yh im surprised too. i'm just glad Europe gets it before december but im still really annoyed we get it later than US
