@chaos. Its crazy. the closest i play to this was zombiu. even Fatal Frame you had a power camera but in outlast you just gotta run. And it makes it seem crazy because its like a bad dream you go into this place and then you get stuck in there and all this crap happen lol. I just started the game but have see tons of game play online. So i know what is to come.

Resident Evil was scary because you had limited control of your character, which made fighting back hard and therefore tense.
Silent Hill is a psychological horror, it relies a lot more on its plot to make you feel scared. Pyramid Head is a perfect example of what I'm talking about, since he's basically an embodiment of the main character's psyche.
Also, puzzles are actually hard in Silent Hill.
