These Splatoon "updates" are a horrible idea, I cannot comprehend why Nintendo is releasing there ready to plat content in this fashion.

    Eh, to each his own.

    Whenever they release a new weapon or map or mode, everyone gets hyped again. It keeps people playing. I doubt you two will actively not play Splatoon when these updates come just to spite Nintendo.

    And Chrop, you won't have to give them more money... That's why they're free...

    "That's why they're free..." Which makes this weird, why not just give us the maps now? or when the game was released? Even reviewers wouldn't have complained about the lack of maps if those maps were available from the start.

    Nintendo said in the direct (pre release) that they would tweak and update they game as they go, so I take that as they had a hard deadline for release (the game probably needed another 6 months). So, even though the content being released is "finished", it may not have had enough time to be tested or balanced for gameplay. It may have gone through some testing but maybe not enough as they would normally test something. So, by releasing some stuff slowly, they can take a look at it a...
