A lot of people were upset when they found out Retro was working on another DK game. I get it now though this is their testing platform for the hardware, what it can do, and working out the kinks. I think we are going to see a starfox rebirth teased in 2014. i am excited for 2014 Nintendo games. Bring on DKTF

games on Wii wouldnt have shined because the Wii wasnt that much more powerful than gamecube and realistic games wouldnt shine. Wii U is a different story. We will see starfox, f-zero and many modern IP's not Wii music because the hardware gives them the chance to SURPRISE the gamer in ways Wii couldnt.

Right, because they aren't trying to hype up the GamePad to be this incredible innovation like they tried with the Wii Motion control.
You really are overestimating Nintendo by A LOT. They've already released "Wii" titles on the Wii U. I guarantee you they will have more.

@ envy yes they have and they should release titles that can be marketed to the MASS consumer not just a shooter or so called "core" gamer. But we already know 2014 titles will be VERY different. MK8, X, Bayo2, Smash, and i personally believe Zelda U will be a holiday 2014 title. they have heavy hitters coming 2014 and more "core" experiences or like they called it for more experienced players.
