It's a pretty general term, seems that is the case here.
Btw, this particular game doesn't make you more healthy does it? lol.
Iwata confirmed the QOL platform is about health.

yeah just though it was weird I have never heard any other developer indie or major since Wii U launched used that term so it seemed weird.
