Oh boy... the gaming world is doing flips over the possibility NX might use android.

Android BASED which can be pretty broad in terms of Nintendo. Wii U discs are Blu Ray based but not Blu Ray. Even if Nintendo uses Android be something heavily custom.

yep basically.... but I am not against it. It would have to be for piracy reasons either way

Hell, I mean, look at Amazon. The Kindle line runs Android, but it's basically the cousin of Mainline.
Alternatively, I heard someone suggest that Nikea might have got it wrong and that it's Linux Based, not Android based, which.. Would make sense.
