Has anyone else noticed how Destiny stole its main plot idea (the big sphere thing) from 2010? While both focus on a different part of it, it's still the same idea. Destiny focuses on after the large object has given people the ability to inhabit other planets, and 2010 focuses on before and during.

I'll bet you two fiddy that Destiny was in some way inspired by 2010, and even 2001.
