To me something just doesn't feel right about not finishing it as Mario on the first go. So I haven't spent much time with the others but I do really like Luigi's high jumps (I now prefer NSLU to NSMBU for that reason!) and Peach's floating can be very useful in certain sections

I see your point and makes sense. I was Luigi for a while then went to Mario lol. I wish i could play as the cat goomba
