I really think Nintendo should so some surprise HD ports to tide over the gaps between game releases.

they need to start releasing more high quality VC games and HD ports from Gamecube/Wii to fill in these gaps between new releases. We have nothing from DK until MK8

Good points about building up more interest in DK. More VC titles and HD ports could do wonders, but nothing. :-(

An HD port of any Gamecube game really. Fire Emblem would be my game of choice as I never played it.
