Did anyone play the Megaman ZX series? I'm getting Megaman Zero collection but I never heard about this other series.

ZX is a future continuation from Zero. The one I played had a more "Kirby and the Amazing Mirror"-esque progression as opposed to picking a stage. I found the game alright. I never ended up playing Advent.
Basically you would kill one boss which gave you some abilities of a form, and then kill an even harder boss further in the map to gain full capability.
