Its been 11 months, the installbase hasn't grown since, a couple thousand here and there, how is Tropical Freeze gonna outsell its previous 6 mil units sold on Wii if Nintendo is stupid enough to not show any adverisement on TV, internet advertisement isn't gonna sell 10 million units, the Wii won because of commercials, everyone in my family knew about the Wii back then and they were harder to get like the PS2. Now with the Wii U its just sitting there collecting dust in shelves alon...

Kokirii, online advertising by Nintendo isn't neccessairly targeting gamers. They way things work, you can target your audience down to location, sex, age, time of day etc. Just because you don't see any advertisements online anywhere else just means you are not their target.

@Sorceror I'm a twenty-something guy with a young family who grew up playing video games and adores certain Nintendo franchises. How could I not be their target?
Anyway, I was thinking that their target before was families and casual gamers, who don't find out about game stuff by reading game websites. They need to be shown ads on TV.
