Sorce nails it. I lived a rough life and a lot of bad junk happen to me. Not nearly as bad as they went through no never I can't even compare. However I developed a sense a humor to get me through it. You never forget but you can't forget life must move forward and not be held hostage by bad things of the past.

And honestly, there are so many terrible evil things going on even right now that probably deserve your attention more than the holocaust since there are things you can actually do about them. That's not to say it's not important to remember the past, but what's done is done. There's no point in being upset over things you can't change.
