The safest bet would to go to a mom and pop video game store in your area, since they will most likely have older consoles. Plus they might also have other other retro games to check out!

eBay isn't the best place, especially if the one you're buying is an auction. If Amazon has a decently priced console, go for it. I'd look around in local area like yard sales, flea markets, pawn/thrift shops, or local gaming stores ( especially ones that specialize in retro gaming).

Good question I have a ton of games but the console had a horrific end.
