I think most expected this title to appear on Wii U. This seems to add more fuel to the fire.

Nice to see more games coming this way, I just hope they can stay away from just porting to increase sales and actually improve the game.

Is this a different one to the ghost recon game they shelved?

Yeah, it's different. You're thinking of Ghost Recon Online.

Makes sense. Ubisoft is the Wii U biggest 3rd party supporter.

I thought Ghost Recon Online was just put on hold and not completely scrapped.

I think you're right. If Ubisoft plans on finishing and releasing the game, I wonder when they plan to do so. Maybe we could hear something this year? E3? Nintendo Direct? If we don't hear anything about the game by the time 2014 rolls around, I think we should assume the worst and call the project dead. We'll just have to wait and see.

I remember seeing an article saying they put it on hold to work on the pc version and other projects. I hope they don't cancle it, because that wasbthe game that made me want a Wii U back in 2011.

Any 3rd Party Titles (AAA or not) are a good thing for Nintendo.

This type of game isn't really my bag at all but the more games the merrier.

This seems likely, so many Ubisoft games are coming to Wii U and already have, plus a lot of leaks suggest thier new games are coming too, I hope we get this and Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag. The more games the better :D
