Goodbye Vita, it was nice knowing you. Now you're just a gamepad for the PS4. -Sniffs and hugs his Vita.-

This is IGN taking something someone said and spinning it way out of proportion.

This article isn't stating devs aren't working on Vita games. It's only saying that all the devs are working on PS4 games."This also confirms that Media Molecule isn’t only focused on the upcoming Vita title Tearaway". Though the Vita is in dire need of some more games. My poor old Vita's future seems to be only for watching videos, and playing Jetpack Joyride.

Its baffling how you concluded from that that the Vita is dead and there are no first party or even third party games in development for it. Sony have already confirmed their support for the Vita for the long term and there is also third party support. The Vita isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Yes it's not doing as well as it should be but the support for it won't stop anytime soon.

Agreed, they'll continue to support it, but I think they want to have plenty of launch games available for PS4, which is a good thing IMO.

This is false, Guerilla Games Cambridge for example is working on Killzone Mercenary for the vita and Bend has been confirmed to be developing a second title for the vita. Now it could be argued that they are also working on another project, but it really is not feasible given the size of some of these development groups. In other words it is rhetoric and should be treat as such.
