I couldn't help but notice the other day that the Forums' banner changed, and I've seen people saying that they want more banner changes; once every few weeks or so. I've been making quite a few banners over at MLP Forums. I've actually come to be kinda known for it.

Anyways, I really wanted to try my hand at it, as I need more practice and I love lots of Nintendo franchises. So anyways, here's my first one; it's for (as you can tell) The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

It looks great, but would it fit on the top of the page like the currents ones do?

Or is size not a problem? Can you just enlarge it?

I could try... I'd do the Pikmin one. Not sure what I'd do, though... Question is, Would these be acceptable banners? Like, would they be used?

I think so, you'd have to ask one of the Mods Or Admins Like feld0 or one of our members Kiianu Reeves, he's running a monthly banner poll I think, maybe if you make one and submit it to him he will use it, just type thier names in the search bar, thier profiles should come up on the members tab. Then take things from there I suppose...

I am already acquainted with both.

I started work on a Pikmin 3 one, but I absolutely could NOT find any decently-sized Olimar renders.

Looks very good, especially the background.

Love all the dynamic coloring going on in there.
Also like the addition of wind marks spreading across the left/right sides of the banner.

Thanks! The background is actually a blurred screenshot from Wind Waker HD. :3

Could you make an epic Pikmin 3 banner?

Meh. This is what I came up with. Not much to look at; I only added a few things to it.



I didn't want to do any of the fancy textures to this one because it doesn't really fit the Pikmin feel, IMO. Please, if you have any suggestions...

I got the source file for the current banner, and it's exactly 2000x300 px. It gets chopped off slightly, though. The extra 80 or so pixels are just to make sure, I think.

Yeah, I forgot to add "HD" into it, but I sent it in to Feld0, and he said he liked it and that he would be happy to use it, whatever that means.
