Metroid is not as bloody as GoW (both Gears and God), doesn't contain any profanity, Samus doesn't have sex or get naked, and it's not a first person shooter like CoD or Halo, so if you are a 14 year old kid that only thinks these things are cool and mature and whatever (like most 'gamers' nowaday), yeah, Metroid is "kiddy".

If you're a true gamer with common sense, no, Metroid is anything but kiddy.

Someone doesn't know the difference between pegi and esrb.

Nintendo knows how to get certain ratings with Serb. And it's interesting that in spite of an S
Esrb "t," Pegu rates it the same as halo 4.

And teen isn't "kiddie"

actually i do, normally they are very similar, but an equivalent M rating in esrb is a huge spike imo compared to teen

i also never said it was kiddie, so you can stop jumping to conclusions

Wasn't speaking to you about the "kiddie part. It was a general statement. "Teen isn't kiddie." So grow up a bit and don't get all hurt over something you perceived, but wasn't there.

And the ESRB wasn't the only thing mentioned.  that was actually the point.  To show how one group may view things differently, and others see the similarities - such as these ratings groups. And to show how ridiculous it is to ever think of Metroid as a "kid" game. LOL.  It's like thinking of Halo 4 as a kiddie game.

And the Metroid series is officially the "First Person Adventure" or "First Person Action" genre, though it has fps elements.

Hope that helps.

Halo 4 is probably more of a kiddie game than Metroid.  Just because it has an M rating doesn't define who the game is intended to court demographic wise.

I don't suggest listening to anti-Nintendo fanboys.

Europe is always more uptight with their ratings.

I don't know where you got that idea from. No they are not.

Whatever gets an "M" rating is immoral. Think of it.

I don't know where you got that idea from. No they are not.

Probably from the fact that they actually have a 3+ rating.

I knew a guy who thought that Nintendo games were kiddy yet enjoyed Metroid.
