Yes, i know this is an old topic.

 

But i saw it recently and...wow

It looks exactly the same as the last game.

 

And considering the special edition bonus is a bit...grotesque, then what is the real incentive to buy this?

I rented the original Dead Island, it really wasn't very good. I won't be touching the series again.

The focus seems to be more on gun combat. I think the key thing to keep in mind here is that it's pre-alpha, so I'd wait until passing judgement on the game for now.

I agree with you. Although people can like the game if they so desire
