The term next gen just means it's the next generation of console, it has nothing to do with specs, they could release on which was less powerful as the last and it would still be next gen. Its not a special club or anything that each console needs a certain specs list to join.

Its not a matter of being more powerful, its a matter of by how much. And its becoming very VERY clear, that its nowhere NEAR the last jump.

I disagree. Next gen applies to both the actual new generation of consoles as well as to whether they are more powerful then the current gen. The Wii U is a next gen consoles as it is not only more powerful then the Wii but its also its successor. Whether its more powerful then the PS3 and and 360 is debateable but its still early days to determine that although its likely its at least a bit more powerful then them.. Its still the next generation of consoles.

'ps4 has a low end cpu and a low to mid range graphics card'.

Its true of course, but why so chatty on the subject?

lol thats weird... Arent they supposed to be under a NDA or something?
