Ugh,I was so disappointed when they did'int put a achievement system,And all we got was a check next to the games on miiverse.

This could easily be implemented on the Wii U,But we need a bigger petition and more people suggesting this to Nintendo. :/

Er, not to sound mean but what the heck is up with all the petitions, leave them be, they don't need a load of unnecessary stuff making them like Sony or Microsoft, they are who they are for the past 100+ years.

It's more of a sign in your name and email and we'll send nintendo an email requesting for a trophy system,

Hello it's 2012,And it's a requirement  to have a trophy system,And it makes people more encouraged to spend more time on the console,

And try to get every trophy and what not,I don't really see it as a bad thing :/

The PS3 had the same problem, I think, it launched with no trophies and after a few months, it was implemented and games were updated to have trophy support.

I remember reading somewhere that they left the achievements to game developers to deal with for in game. I myself wasn't a big fan of achievements and trophies, I like to play games for their enjoyment factor, not to brag to my friends that I'm better them them because I have more achievements. But that's just me

I really dont care for acheivements, i find miiverse infinitely better. If i do something cool i post a pic and description.

Let this happen, Nintendo. Please! I've done too many low parrys to be able to earn the "Under the Belt" achivement!

I'm fine without them, I hated achievements because to 100% a game you needed to get them all but there were always a few that were just impossible, I hated them. I've enjoyed my games on Wii U more without them.

I found achievements to be boring now. All games need are just unlockables that require you to do certain tasks, not raise a number score that means nothing on your profile. Not signing.

I thought I read around E3 that there was an achievement system, but it was up to the developers to use it or not.

I Dont mind trophies, but I really dont need them. Was hoping that sony and microsoft would ditch them next gen, but looks like they aren't.

If nintendo does implement something, I'd like for it to actually be rewarding of some sore.

i.e. get a equivalent platinum in a game, get 200 Club nintendo points, or something of that nature, where we can turn them in for merchandise.

In a dream world, they could does something like for every 200 or something like that trophies or achievements, get $5 off an E-shop title. I think that's actually a good way to reward people who are buying games, (though they could be renting them) and turning it around for more revenue/profit through digital downloads.
