I pick up my dualshock or 360 pad and after an hour or so of playing single/multiplayer I get bored. Not with every game but most even the exclusives. It's not an arrogant statement, more of a general "hmm I might play something else now" kind of feeling.
Where as playing on Wii U hours go by and I don't even notice where the time went. I thought about it and the conclusion is the multiple controller options we have at our disposel, GamePad support over other consoles ports, posting nonsense on Miiverse or just pausing the game while looking at walkthroughs or game related things on the browser!
All these things point to Wii U being the most versatile console ever with the unique ability to keep you interested for longer
