In Vancouver, we call it pop. Though I've heard a few people call it soda. Or carbonated drinks. And my favourite is Gingerale. Not because of the 'ale' in its name, but I actually like the stuff.

Coke Zero doesn't taste like normal Coke, but it doesn't taste like diet Coke either, it's kind of in the middle.

I've always liked Sprite, but for years now, I've been hooked on Mountain Dew. Though it's bad for you, I try not to drink it constantly. Here in Florida, we call it soda or soft drink. I prefer to call it soda, in my opinion.

My favourite drink is Fanta. For some reason I really like orange coloured edibles and drinks. 
As for what we call these drinks, here in Australia we call them Soft Drinks.

It's a difficult decision, but probably Lemon, Lime & Bitters (if it's made properly) or maybe Brown Creamy Soda (Tarax is the best), or Bundaberg Ginger Beer, though as far as the popular brands go, Sunkist.
