I bought the game 3 days ago and I'm loving it, I'm only up to chapter 6 as I'm trying to take it slow and I'm having a lot of fun in free roam. I just spent about 30 minutes cruising the streets in a wheelchair, yeah, this game easily entertains me.
It could use some graphical polish and it's kind of boring when you're driving a vehicle and no radio is playing, other than that it's a great game so far.
8.5/10 for me

Bought this today, and just started play! Do they plan on fixing the loading times in a patch?

Loading times will be greatly improved with Nintendo's patch this month, I hear. Or maybe I got it all wrong.
I know... it's annoying to have to load every second.

collectibles are addicting
This! I think I've spent the last 10 hours, since I got to the main city, doing nothing but looking for collectibles, disguises and wrecking the city for super-build blocks.
This game is amazing, I didn't expect the humor to be so childishly adult, either. It's childish but a kid wouldn't get it, as there's a lot of references to movies, other games, etc etc

So I just finished the story mode last night.
Idk about you guys, but I think the ending and last level were amazingly well done. I hope they can develop a sequel to the game sometime, the originality instead of the movie licences in LEGO games really fit the series.

That's referring to the OS and other UI related features not individual games. The developers of the game would have to offer a separate patch but one wonders if that's even possible as if it was the game surely would have shipped without these loading time problems in the first place. Its been in development long enough.

I bought the game a few days ago and like others said it is a pretty fun game. It's not a hard game or anything but it has been pretty fun so far. Glad I read what people said here otherwise I may not have bought it.

I really like the implementation of the gamepad, the "communicator" is cool and adds that extra depth to pull you in the game when video calls come in.

And I can continue to run around and destroy things, collect studs and bricks, etc while I'm using the communicator

Can I play this on the gamepad only?
No because the game uses the gamepad as a gameplay element (map, detective tool, etc) to complement the action on-screen.

Played a couple hours, this game is overwhelming with everything to collect. Very fun, I can see myself playing this one for a couple months! I only play an hour or 2 a day, well worth the cash.
