So do I.I think a lot of people consider Nintendo as the Walt Disney of gaming. I do.
What's the point of next gen consoles?

If consoles are replaced by the iphone I'm going to become a PC gamer. The controlls are just too crappy to deal with. If the iphone replaced consoles that would be a very sad day for me because people I know would be playing on a system without the "soul" that a gaming system should have, I mean does the iphone have a games store? No, it's an app store. Is it a gaming device? No, it's a phone.
People seem to adore anything Apple, I saw the people on the news waiting outside for an IPad. I mean fine you can want the iPad but waiting outside for it... people will buy anything Apple branded so if they did come into gaming people wouldn't care how shoddy the controls are they would buy it anyway and hope for the best lol. Or Apple will sell an overly expensive attachment that would work as a controller.

Sadly... (Although I'm not sure if it would be good if Nintendo had no competition, then the quality of games might go down...)Apple wants to play dirty and ruin Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft (but mostly Nintendo, since they don't have anything else to produce)
Money. Not. AVAILABLE!

You see, there was this neat popular item called the 'Paper,' and with this 'Paper' you could store your Contacts, Plan your Day and send messages that the hip people call 'Letters.' 'Paper' has become a worldwide phenomenon, ending up in almost every persons home, and being used by whole families, young and old!
But there was a recently discovered way to play GAMES on 'Paper.' Kids have been seen spending entire schoolyard recesses playing games like Hangperson, Sqaaures and 'Paper' AeroPlanes. Employees have spent many hours slacking off playing challenging puzzle games like 'Orugami'. Even other games are being amplified with 'Paper' apps, such as the Yo-Gu-On Health Point Calculator!
Clearly current video game corporations such as Nintendo and Sony should switch to developing games for 'Paper.' The Handheld, and possibly even Console, markets are dead. There is no going back.
'Paper' is the future.

Not to mention that paper has the capabilities of an Intuos tablet and beyond!

Ok wat if u Had a iphone that can hook up to a tv and be able to use a bluetooth compatable controller adnd play ur games like that. If thus magical console had full 3 rd party support with full hd graphics the experience wud not be there??
One of the reasons apps are becoming so popular is because of the cheap price, you will never get a game with the quality of a Zelda game if they're aiming for a cheap price tag.
