only thing missing is voice chat lobbies that work between games.
Not sure how viable that is for a website using html5 and no flash.

Most of them actually were confirmed in the Direct in January weren't they?
Honestly I don't remember if there were any specifics, though I do remember Iwata saying there would be constant improvements because it isn't software its browser based.
That particular list was given out at GDC though.

Now that would be really awesome. I think they should have a main lobby to Miiverse, where people can just chat and what not, that would be sick

That would probably have to be written into the OS, but there is an open source HTML5 SIP Client that Nintendo could write a VOIP application with.

I never understood those types of posts.
It looks like the Miiverse could become a substitute for the lack of Achievements/Trophies.
Instead of getting a list of achievements of developers, the community can be creative and make their own achievements and use the Miiverse to share.
I think this was part of Nintendo's idea from the beginning, just like many other things they failed to market properly.
Same here. They're so annoying. Oh, one thing I wish you could do on Miiverse, is post videos.

would be nice if nintendo knew it existed.
Sounds like a perfect fit from their jewgold code page.
What's wiiuchat using? I don't even remember the name of the company they use so it's peer to peer.
Is that sip too?

SIP is peer to peer, and is used by many IP telephony companies as the framework for their VOIP systems to live on.

if wiiuchat uses it, and nintendo have seen the project, maybe?

If they aren't using that particular open source project, they probably already have a proprietary SIP client running on the console. It's just a matter of writing a VOIP application that can leverage the API that is always available through the OS and can tie into MiiVerse for call setup from within a running application.

That's their plan, but if they want miiverse functionality they'll need to re-write the client for html5 since miiverse is just a website.

^This.
Other than that, this is great! Tournaments will be AWESOME for Smash 4, and I'd never put NSMBU down if it had a level editor.

Still waiting for TVii & BBC iPlayer in the UK but I'm liking the gradual tweaking of the System. Better than set up a large faulty system that is never corrected.
