The 3DS is kinda dead in my opinion though, but yeah a new zelda would be nice.
Ok, so I don't understand how you can logically argue that the 3DS is dead. If it doesn't appeal to you that's one thing, but the handheld is thriving right now and has some awesome games coming out for it on a steady basis.
