This is the thread to discuss those games of multiplayer en masse. Share what games you play, you're In-game names, arrange meetings, whatever. Don't play MMOs? Feel free to ask for suggestions. Not sure you want to? Well, you can join in on the discussion anyway! Anyone of any experience is welcome here
(For the sake of simplification, games like MInecraft and Terraria don't count as MMOs as the servers are usually hosted by players. And, no, facebook games don't count either >.>)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, I've decided to play Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine with some friends, at least until SMT: Devil Survivor: Overclocked comes out. It's pretty fun and free, and feels kinda like a Pokemon Online. However, I would probably give it a 15+ rating for religious (Where do you think the Demons come from >.>) and sexual (Nothing explicit, but there ARE Succubus' and Incubus') references. Not as bad as some of the main series games, though.
As for some more mainstream MMOs, I played Runescape for around 3 years. Got bored of it though, and I haven't played it since I got high-speed. I have a friend who won't stop playing it, though... Wouldn't be surprised if he made it into the top 5000.
And I've tried WoW. Didn't like it
So what games have you all played/Are playing?

Here's the trailer for it:
If you (who is reading this) has Steam then you can download it over Steam.
It's free to play and even to get the best stuff and be as good as the other players, you don't need to pay. (I never payed a single cent and have nice equipment and am pretty good )
If anyone needs more info on it then you can just send me a PM or ask in this thread
P.S. It's somewhat similar to Zelda... here's an Kotaku article Behold The Zelda-Riffic Joy Of Spiral Knights

My first and only MMO I've ever played is an MMORPG. It's called Spiral Knights. It's a dungeon crawler in which you can play alone or with up to 3 other people.
Here's the trailer for it: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=P7OQRA2kDyE

Do you need to be 13 to play? It sounds interesting and It says birth year so I don't know what that will mean.

I always put my birth year as over 18 (I'm younger than that)... I don't know the age you need to be to play it, but the age isn't shown anywhere. I'd just put in the wrong one if I was you. Try your real year, or else just put in a wrong one as it doesn't matter

Also I've seen young people play it, so I guess 12 would be enough... I think.

World of Warcraft. I felt it was crap because I had to spend so much time just to level up. Not my cup of tea.
Pokemon Crater/Vortex.... hmm....
Team Fortress 2 and Counter Strike.
Artix Entertainment games. Nuff Said.
Quake III Arena was fun back in the day.
I remember a long time ago I played WyvernRPG.
And does Zynga Poker count? XD

I personally am looking forward to Guild Wars 2, I'm not generally big on MMOs and haven't ever really played one consistently, however I'm thinking about getting this one.
I really like the fact that it's a once off purchase with no monthly payments and that it is different form every other MMO.

Something that they don't tell you. The orginal Guild Wars had 15 $30 expansions. What's to stop them from doing the same? What MMORPGs do you play or are you looking forward to?

OT: I've played some of Adveture Quest Worlds when I was younger, does that count?
Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

iirc, XIV became Free to Play. And everyone hates modern Final Fantasy, it's the trendy thing to do >.>I don't know about XI, but I think you have to do something of a regular payment for XIV. However, I've been hearing nothing but crap about XIV, so I don't suggest it.
