Looks like Microsoft won't be having my money this gen.

Even if the next gen Xbox does not require online to play after all, how Orth handled the tweet situation with aggressive self-defense and bad analogy was very unprofessional-like. It was pretty embarrassing and left damage to the company's reputation, overall.

If not too bad, go for it.
If it sounds like a problem, change.
I imagine MS will change this up.
If not, I imagine they'll be in last place by default.
However, if there is anything Google has taught us with Gmail and Chrome, it's that people generally hate the idea of being spied on or dictated to, but they won't do anything meaningful about it. Let that sink in for a second...
If this situation stays as is, everyone who buys a 720 will be voting for it with their dollars.

It's kinda sad seeing all the comments from all those other forums discussing the same issue, not one person has mentioned they would get the WiiU, not one. The PS4 definitely has put itself in a good position.
This is where it ends

Don't know what the big deal is with "always online" I mean, just this last Saturday my internet went out and the wife, kids and I played some Mario U and Mario Wii for a few hours.
Why would I want to play games with those people when I could stare at my new "Nextbox" that'll do absolutely nothing
And yes, was being sarcastic. If those rumors are true I feel sorry for Microsoft.

Guess he'll just have to deal with it.
