Basically my brother works at the pleasure beach whilst he's waiting to start his pgce training or something like that so he can become a teacher. Anyway he just told me he got a letter that he need to go to a meeting to because he's being accused of theft. This "theft" is giving a hotdog away for free when someone else who worked there said he wasn't going to pay for it so my brother gave to him for free. The worker had been going around to all other places getting free food as well but only my brother is being accused of "theft" The biggest problem is if he gets a criminal record for theft that wouldn't be good for becoming a teacher. As it would simply say "theft" and not "gave hotdog away for free" So is it possible that he'll get a criminal record and be fired for it?
Could my brother actually be fired for this?

if your brother states that the other employee refused too pay for it your bro didn't take anything the other employee actually stole the hotdog (rediculous by the way).

The other employee is at fault here, your brother could get him potentially involved or fired as well.

Wait, so your brother lets another worker take a hot dog for free? The obvious solution is to take it out of their pocket.
The only way which your brother should actually be getting in trouble, is if that worker no longer works there and has no affiliation with the company anymore, in which case your brother would actually be at fault.

Very strange someone cares about a single hot dog though.
Perhaps that employee was a version of a "secret shopper", designed to test the work ethic of the employees across the area.

brother just texted saying he's probably getting fired tomorrow. Don't know why he thinks that and I haven't gotten one saying why he thinks that yet
