VG Leaks has given us a leak in regards to the classic game, Castle of Illusion. The original game received a sequel for the Nintendo 3DS a while back, although critics stated that the game was a lack-luster sequel that didn’t live up to expectations the original game had placed on it.
Anyway, in January, the game received a Brazilian classification for release on the Wii U, XBox 360, Playstation 3, and Playstation Vita. It now appears that the game has received a digital cover, at least for an XBox 360 release. This isn’t the best proof in the world for a remaster, but it is something.
SEGA has yet to comment on the rumors, so they should be kept as such, but again, it’s something, and I doubt somebody would go through the trouble to remake a cover for a game that is over twenty years old.
