Huh, color me surprised since I thought Batman AC didn't sell so well enough on the Wii U to warrant another Batman game on the platform.

They probably already started working on it before it was released on the Wii U.

I'll get this, I'm  love anything Batman.  I'm glad that Slade Wilson is appearing in this, he's one of my favorite Batman villains!

 

The 3DS and Vita versions do intrigue me though, can't wait to see those!

So this game looks cool, and I'ms sure they will get the combat and everything right, I'm just not sure about the story. The last two games were intense Joker vs. Batman relationship stuff and there was a real heartfelt dynamic because of that. While villains like Black Mask and Deathstroke are cool, the dynamics of their relationships with Batman just aren't there. 

 

While writing the above few lines I realized this game's main villain will probably be Ra's al Ghul. I mean we are dealing with Assassin's here. I think he will be a definite, along with Freeze.

Let's hope that they do a better job with the Wii U version this time, yes I was impressed, but now I know the Wii U is capable of so much more I want to see more

 

 

What more can they do? They got gamepad functionality right and besides a few framerate issues the rest of the game was the same as 360 and PS3.

Looking forward to this although i would say i hope its a bit more asylum than city on the combat front, i got bored of city about 3/4 of the way through mostly due to my inability to remember a load of button combos!

I wanna see if they can raise the gamepad functionality bar, especially if riddler is involved at any point. Don't get me wrong I loved the last one. Oh and use the PC textures and effects, 1) Easier for them (2) Nicer for us

These guys are former Retro Studios guys, I am very optimisitic about this game.  Another website made mention about them porting Archam City to Wii U was basically to help them get familiar with the UE3 engine and the Wii U hardware.  I also like idea of 2.5D.  When done right, this can not only allow the developer to create really wonderful visuals, but keep the action high wtih a solid framerate.  Its going to be one to watch thats for sure.

What do you guys think of the  title Origins? I've seen some negative buzz about the Joker not being in it. As the Arkham games seem to revolve around the relationship between Batman and Joker do you think this could be a Joker's Origin story game? If done right, you don't even need Hamill as a voice actor. Red Hood could easily be one of these 8 Assassin's that Batman tangles with creating the Joker in the final battle. Also, Black Mask's real name it Roman Sionis... If you don't see that connection you either played Arkham City in a daze or you haven't played Arkham City.
