Dexter will be reuniting with a kindred spirit in Season 8, as Yvonne Strahovski is returning to the series as Hannah McKay.

Hannah escaped to parts unknown at the end of Season 7, and producers had been coy on whether she’d be back for sure or not, but EW.com is now reporting the Chuck alum is officially set to come back for what they describe as "a multi-episode arc."

Some people were expecting Doakes, I guess you're disappointed then.

I'm not a fan of this character, I hated her, the writer's could of just introduced us to a new character, but with this being the final season (supposedly I think its fine.

Hopefully Dexter doesn't end the way a lot of people expect it to end.

A blood splatter analyst that watched his mother get butchered kills serial killers that escape the justice of the law.

I think Dexter is on Netflix.

Yes it is good.

Not a fan of her, would prefer they bring back the other girl from the previous season instead.

Thanks for letting me know she doesn't die when I haven't even finished season 7 yet. You shouldn't put spoilers in the title, you should've put "Dexter Season 8 details revealed" or something similar. Have some consideration next time.

Eh, her return is probably the least interesting thing that's going to happen next season. Can't wait nonetheless although I'm going to be pretty sad to see one of my favorite shows end. Just one less thing to look forward too every Fall.

My apologies, I assumed people would of seen season 7 by now, since it finished five months ago.
