Playstation 3, you should share Tales of Xillia.
Destructoid recently asked Hideo Baba, the producer of the Tales series, if the Tales series could come to the Wii U and why Tales of Xillia didn’t make it to the Wii U. Baba replied, saying:
Our main target audience for the Tales franchise is still ultimately Japan, so when we make a game we want to target our main fanbase,” he said, adding that, after doing extensive research in Japan, the team found that their audience is centered around the PlayStation 3. As a result, the team’s focus remains there.
Although Baba believes the Wii U to be a great system, he added that being a great system is not enough:
It’s not really about our opinions on whether or not it’s a good system; ultimately it becomes a question of, ‘What consoles do our fans have?
Would you purchase a Wii U simply for a Tales game?
