Today's lengthy nintendo 3DS direct is leaving us all baffled from the announcements it showed, and all of them will be listed in this thread as a "Recap" for anyone who missed it.
USA Nintendo Direct:
-Mario & Luigi: Dream Team dated for August 11th
-Mario Golf: World Tour to feature real time online play
-Mario Party 10 Announced, coming this winter
-Yoshi's island coming to the 3DS
-Wii U system update confirmed to release next week for NA
-Will get VC games, some games include Donkey Kong, Kirby's Adventure, Ice Climbers, Mario Bros. 2 and Super mario world. N64 and GBA games releasing soon.
-Update to also feature a quick switch to Wii mode during start up, and a Standby Mode that can download and install updates at any time.
-Earthbound finally being released in North America for the Wii U Virtual Console by the end of the year
- Pikmin 3 - Winged Pikmin can fly and carry items for you. Pikmin 3 launch date still not announced.
- Wii U panorama view demo next week
- Game and Wario - Showing off the Pirates minigame. Involves finding/blocking arrows being fired at you. Gamer gameplay brings WarioWare gameplay with a twist. Watch on the TV to keep an eye out for your mother, who is trying to catch you playing late at night on the GamePad. Includes multiplayer games as well. Some games you play on your own let others use the TV to help you. Due out digital and retail on June 23rd.
- Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D - Features new mode to better suit the game balance to portable play. Difficulty balance has been adjusted in new mode to reflect this. This mode lets you get hit 3 times with each character. New Mode also features more items to help players out. There's a portable DK barrel that can call Diddy out. Green balloons float you back up to the level if you fall. Crash Guard protects you through 2 crashes when riding a rocket or mine cart. New stages open after clearing the main game. Will be digital and retail.
-LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins is a prequel that lets you see LEGO City in a different light.
- new Swapnote content coming our way for select games.
- Animal Crossing 3DS XL for $220, confirmed for North America. Includes pre-installed version of the game.
- Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons hitting 3DS VC on May 30th.
- Bravely Default confirmed for localization. Nintendo publishing in 2014.
- Professor Layton and the Arzan Legacies due out in 2014.
- Guild02 titles hitting 3DS eShop soon
- The Legend of Zelda: A link to the past 2 Coming to the 3DS this winter, Link can become a drawing a move along walls. Same world of Link to the Past, new storyline and dungeons. Top-down view. 3D video available on 3DS eShop today. Available holiday 2013.
-Pikmin 3 confirmed to release on August 4th 2013 in NA
