New Final Fantasy Versus XIII information is on the way, with the date for the next reveal already set according to the game's director Tetsuya Nomura.

Speaking on the inaugural episode of  Square Enix Merchandise Radio (via NovaCrystallis), he revealed that details were coming but that the project was a sensitive subject within Square Enix.

“

The date for our next reveal is set and we are working toward preparing information for that.

"It’s a delicate situation within the company," Nomura explained. "The date for our next reveal is set and we are working toward preparing information for that.

"Perhaps the details as to why information couldn’t be released might be touched upon with the next information announcement."

While nothing new has been revealed at this stage, it's certainly encouraging to hear that more information is slated to be revealed and suggests that maybe the title isn't destined to become vapourware after all.

The last rumour we heard about the title suggested that it was now in development for next-generation consoles, and had possibly been renamed as Final Fantasy XV.

 

 

Well that's great to hear Tetsuya but how about a damn trailer to make this believable.

i still havent even beaten the first one... and im having a real hard time wanting to play it bc of how long it takes to level up.

Actually its not a sequel to that, its another game that somewhat takes place in that timeline like Square said, but an even better character design and Kingdom Hearts gameplay action.

I'm saying its better than what is already out. Everybody has requested this and Square has been ignoring it for years. Both were announced when the Ps3 was released and Versus always has been ignored.

I forgot this existed. The only reason I want this to be released is so they can start working on Kingdom Hearts 3.

seems like a hack and slash game...well last story was like that and it was a great game. i wonder how they are going to make it in the ff13 universe... i hope that i dont have to beat the other two to play this one so that there arent any references i would miss. 

and it looks like its back to exp instead of the crystarium which is a plus.

Well, they can't get any worse than FF13 or FF13x241xl (whatever the heck it's called, it's ridiculous)
