As you can see, my name on this forum is Metroid.

I like video games. I've played many games, both good and hidden gems.
I like to play on my guitar, I do play on it often to replay some good music from good games. What I most like about games is their music. Sonic is one of the games that always have good music, no matter how bad the game is.
I have many favourite franchises, (Paper) Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Metroid, Pikmin, Sonic, F-Zero, Star Fox, Super Smash Bros etc. Most of them is from Nintendo and parts from Sega.

Right now I'm waiting for Skyward Sword. I think it'll be a very, very good game. I'm talking about "Ocarina of Time" or "Majora's Mask" kind of good.

The game that I've finished the most times must be Paper Mario for the N64. It's the best.

And that's it. =D

Hey there, Metroid!
Welcome to the Wii U Forums.

I am Auzzie Wingman, a guide. It's my job to welcome you to the site, and give you answers to whatever you need help with.
You can also ask any other guides or the staff (AMAC and Feld0) any non technical questions.

I also love Sonic music. Crush 40 always knows how to do it right. I'm also hyped up for Skyward Sword. :P

Well, become part of the community, don't be shy. Oh, and try not to suck the life force out of everyone.

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

Welcome to the forum Metroid!

Like NinjaShock said, I'm sure that you'll fit right in!

You and me have some of the same likes in games and you got one point right. All Sonic games do have good music. (Goes back to listening Planet Wisp Act 1 from Sonic Colors Wii)

If you need help clarifying the rules or any other form of non-technical help, I'm all ears.

Don't forget to check out each section of the forum!

See ya 'round :P

Welcome aboard mate. I'm Lord N, the Forum's resident Pokemon nut, and I hope you'll have a great time here.
I'll think we'll get along quite nicely.
2 questions though:
1. Why do you Claim the original Paper Mario is the best? I thought it was universally decided that TTYD was the best :P
2. Why did you not mention Windwaker level of good?

Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

Welcome Metroid! You're very lucky to get that name. If you want any help, contact Feld0 or AMAC. They're the best mods! (I mean it)

1. It's because the bosses are more epic(and have also very good music), it's very charming, and it was simpler. Kind of like comparing Mario Golf and Mario Golf Toadstool Tour. I also like TTYD very much, it's just that Paper Mario just have that... "it" that I like :). I also like the nemesis in the game: Jr. Troopa. He just never gives up.

2. It has a different overworld that I don't like very much... And those looooooong rides with the King of Red Lions, I'll always remember that part of the game. The story is okay, the gameplay is fun, and the dungeons are also fun. I just have something against the sea part in the game... Everything else is good. But I love everything with OoT and MM. And that's the reason I didn't mention WW ^_^

Feel free to ask more questions if something seems unclear.

And thanks everyone for the welcoming! :D

Welcome to Wii U Forums Metroid!

I'm AMAC, a fan of Yoshi and My Little Pony. I'm also the forum's moderator, so I'll be happy to help you with any problems you have here. We also have Guides who can help you with any non-technical problems. They're names are in orange.

I used to do guitar lessons, although I stopped about four years ago and I've hardly touched my guitar since. I was never very good at it. I wouldn't say that music is an especially important part of games for me, but I am enjoying the music in Ocarina of Time.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your stay here!

Hey there, another musician that likes sonic. We may become to know each other well if you decide to stay here.

Anyway, im superdarkyoshi the eh....darkest Yoshi. Also a guitar player and writer/poet. I am a fan of sonic, I haven't played any of his newest games yet but think generations might be good. How long have you been playing guitar and what's your favorite genre of music? I happen to like blues. Anyway, read the rules and ask questions if you have them. Enjoy the stay

I've been playing guitar for 1 year and 9 months now. I still have much to learn, but I'm getting better at playing guitar for every month that goes. I'm playing guitar about 30h/week.

I don't really have any specific/favourite genre. I like many, but limited kinds of music. I can name some genres that I like. Which is 80s rock, instrumental, blues, acid rock, electro, and video game music.

Do you happen to like rock / being able to listen to rock? =/

Hello there! It's great to meet a fellow musician! :P
I also looove the music aspect of video game. I happen to play the piano and I currently am a piano major at my college. I'm more into video game and classical music. Why classical music? Well...you'll eventually grow to like it if you're forced to play classical music for 5 years, so yeah. xD I wish I can play guitar though, I'm horrible at it, even though I do own an acoustic guitar. Well...keep up with your music endeavor. :D I'm always supportive of fellow musicians!

So tell me, who are you favorite video game composers? :3

Few random info about it: I'm a yoshi fangirl. Do not mind my Kirby avatar...it is just my "temporary" fanbase at the moment after playing kirby games for the entire summer. Of course, I play various other Nintendo games as well.

I typically appreciate all kinds of music with significant guitar solos, so to answer your question I like rock. I've been playing for about 2 years now. I have posted me improvising a blues scale in the museum section of the forum if you want to check that out. Its really good that you practice alot. Right now I am studying fretboard logic (you know, chords across the fretboard) and blues. Also, working on alot of intermediate basics, since im taking lessons.

That's a hard question... I like many video game composers. But if I have to choose one, it would be Yuka Tsujiyoko.

Hey, I happened to play Yoshi's Story a few days ago. Trying to get all these 30 melons in all stages. It's a difficult challenge to succeed with. I've currently finished 14 stages.
I'm also trying to finish 100% on Yoshi's Island. I'm currently on 4-3.
