So, is anyone looking forwards to rayman origins? I am for one, because rayman was one of my favorite video game characters when I was a child and loved the great escape. Although I still have to play the first one, ive heard it was just as great. Origins is supposed to be closer to the first game.

How do you think this game will do?

I've played both Rayman for the PS1 and The Great Escape for the N64 and for the 3DS (which is a port from the dreamcast version), they're great games.

I really have high hopes for this game. I think this game will be a success.
I'm also waiting for this game. Isn't it getting released in November...? =/

Rayman Origins looks to me like it's shaping up to be an absolutely brilliant game. I'm really looking forward to it, and it's about time we saw Rayman again in a true Rayman adventure. I mean, the Rabbids are fun and all, but they can't be compared to an honest Rayman platformer. I just hope that Ubisoft's marketing team puts as much work into getting the game out there as the developers are putting into making it. It would be a real shame for this game to be yet another one of those amazing games that no one ever buys.

By the way, I also edited the topic's title to something a little more descriptive.

I'm not really a fan of Rayman, but there's a lot of hype about Origins. If everyone is raving about this game when it's released, I'll probably end up buying it. That's pretty much what happened with Ocarina of Time 3D for me.

Back to the original Rayman... Kinda... At least there are no more Rabbids. I'll definitely get this game

The game will be released on November 15th 2011 in North America and November 18th 2011 in Europe. Anyways I have already put down ten dollars to pre order it for PS3. It looks like its going to be like the original Rayman but at a faster pace mixed with New Super Mario Bros. Wii's four player multiplayer. The PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii versions will be released in November and the Playstation Vita and Nintendo 3DS versions will be released next year.

I've kinda abandoned Rayman since the "Rabbids disease" began.

I'm glad that Rayman is turning back to a awesome platformer, and not a collection of mini-games with Rabbids...

I've played the first Rayman game on computer. The second also on computer (finished it about 10 times) and the third one on Xbox (Finished it about 5 times)

After that I missed Rayman, as the good and normal games were stopped being produced.

Rayman Origins looks like a "real" Rayman experience and like it'll be a LOAD of fun.
I'm getting the Wii version and maybe the 3DS version. (If there is a big difference, and download/online play with other people :D)

After I saw the trailer of Rayman Origins a long while ago, I was as happy as practically never before. (Besides having official proof of the third Golden Sun game being released after YEARS of waiting -_-)

I look forward to this game.
