My gamepad doesn't charge whenever place it on the cradle. It charges perfectly normal when I plug it into the top of the gamepad. Whenever I try to use the cradle, I unplug it and plug back in on the top but it doesn't charge until I plug it into another outlet in the house? Anybody else ever have this problem?

I never use the cradle, but that is odd though, I suggest you charge it on top from now on or check if its connected correctly.

It's connected correctly for sure. I don't know if its the gamepad or the cradle that is causing the problem.

Basically my gamepad won't charge with the cradle but it does with the AC adapter alone.

try cleaning the contacts

I've only had my Wii U for two weeks & the cradle has never worked. Would taking out the battery maybe fix this?

Mine did this and I just left the cradle alone for 5 minuets and plugged it in again and it worked.

Remember that if the gamepad already has a sufficient charge the light will not come on on the gamepad when it is in the cradle to show that it is charging.
