That's a serious question. I am curious as to why Nintendo launched the DSi. It's truly between two gens, the DS and the 3DS. It played DS games, but had the first prototype for an eShop.
For what reason did Nintendo make that system?

Namely to implement camera and digital software features.
Plus it had Flipnote Studio, which alone is worth the upgrade.

Internal wifi, Web Browser, eShop, etc.

Thats like saying why the DS Lite, they created it just to make a big upgrade on the original ds, since it was quite dark and bland.
Well, I've finally found my Starfox, and I love it.

I loved my DSi but, it was a bit too late in my opinion, a year or two earlier then it would have been awesome, still loved it though

I agree, but what bugs me is the weird timing for its release.Internal wifi, Web Browser, eShop, etc.

The DS Lite didnt add much. It was an upgrade, mainly in performance. It didn't use a new OS as far as I remember.Thats like saying why the DS Lite, they created it just to make a big upgrade on the original ds, since it was quite dark and bland.
