Personally, I prefer the US over the JP soundtrack, simply because the JP soundtrack always sounds too J-Poppy for me. On top of that, the US songs are just so atmospheric.

 

I can't stand it. It feels lifeless and lacks passion imo.

To play devil's advocate, I can actually name 10 bad things about Sonic Adventure 2.

1. Lack of an Adventure world. Straight levels get boring.

2. The arguing between characters gets old. Such as at the encounter between Sonic and Shadow in the jungle. Unfortunately the game appears to be too young to have clever banter.

3. The final level, before the boss where you have to use every character, is too hard.

4. Flying down from rail to rail in space levels is a pain.

5. The robot (Tails and Eggman) levels are slow and horrendous.

6. The storyline is either hard to understand or drivel. I did not understand it at 12 years old but understood the Sonic Adventure story perfectly.

7. The game ends on too much of a cliffhanger.

8. Things like the giant ghost boss look too cartoony. Don't say it's the DreamCast's hardware because realer things could be produced on it.

9. The driving game is too wacky and too easy.

10. No pinball like Sonic Adventure 1 had.

It's still a great game, but I'm always up for a challenge, this time being "name 5 things you don't like". I would probably consider it the best Sonic game next to Sonic Generations and Sonic Adventure. Here are 5 things I can praise about the game:

1. The introduction of a darker character than Sonic.

2. One of the songs, "Live and Learn", is fantastic.

3. Shadow's jungle level had great graphics for its time.

4. Playing the final boss with the Sonic-Shadow team is fairly fun to play.

5. It's fun when they pit one fast hedgehog against another in a level.

Sonic 2 and I really want to play Sonic Colors.

 

EDIT: I see discussions about SA2 going on. IMO, all of the 3D Sonic games before Colors either outdated and/or boring.

Probably will be Sonic Generations for 3DS, as it stands now all of the originals, can't beat em'.

Give me 5 bad things about this game. you can't, its amazing. I love it.
 

 

The story kinda ripped off an episode from some Iron Man cartoon, from what I remember.
