I was thinking about that statement Sega said about planned Wii U games, and then I saw this guy's deviant art and I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea, I mean Sega has memorable characters, Sumo Digital did a great job with Superstar Tennis & Racing; Sega tribute wise. I'm not saying a crossover with Smash Bros but their own game, as much as i like to see another Sega kart racer Id love to see them go further to a fighting game. Sumo Digital has shown they have been inspired by Nintendo instead of competing against them, they wanted Mario in the first Sonic & Sega All Stars racing so they are not against them at all. I mean look at this, this could work if they develop it.

They could just reuse the battle system from Sonic Battle and it would already be a better game than PlayStation lawl Stars.

I bet that could turn out as a awesome game. They have some great content to build upon, just look at Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. That game makes me think that Nintendo should make Mario Kart a "Nintendo-universe" racer as well and not only build it upon the Mario Bros-series.

I probably wouldn't buy it, mostly because i only know a few sega characters, (Sonic and friends, Nights, jet set radio team, monkey ball monkeys.)

Not if it was:

Sonic and Friends VS Super Mario Smash Bros

Or

Japan VS Super Mario Smash Bros

That way you could use Sonic, Bomberman, Megaman, Pacman, and more

a Sega fighting game, It could work, however the only thing that can not be, is sega developing it.

 

Someone else has to do it, because

 

A: Sega WONT do it

B: Sega CANT do it

C: therefore sega SHOULDN'T do it

 

Namco is unavailable, Capcom would be the 1st in line, they're looking for a new versus series, so if capcom does it, it wont be anything like smash

 

But right now sega has nothing to lose, after this whole aliens lawsuit stuff they need to become relevant fast.

No I wouldn't play this. I'm honestly not a fan of many series coming from Sega. Also we really don't get another Smash clone/rip off whatever.

Not really interested in playing games similar to the fighting mechanics. I've played All-Stars a few times, but I don't get the same satisfying feeling I get with SSB.
