i got my wii u points card to download SMW, i thought about how i never played Yoshi's Island. Does anyone agree we should be treated to this on VC soon? Any rumors? And to anybody who has played it-would you suggest it to me? yes i have mario fever, collected most of his games etc. It's just one of those games on my list

It hasn't been made readily available since the GBA release, unless you are a 3DS Ambassador. That being said, you should still play it. It's amazing.

Yesss, Yoshi's Island is my favorite 2D Mario platformer ever. I'm just glad they gave us the game to 3DS ambassadors!

UNDER-RATED?!? Every single person i have ever talked to who have played the game all say its amazing!
I'm mainly referring to popularity. Super Mario World sold 20 million copies. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island sold 4 million.

My guess is it will be 3-12+ months before Yoshi's Island hits Wii U VC, since there is no announcement of it (that I know of).

That game is so fun! 
I think you should get it when it is released on the Virtual Console.

I'm thinking about getting this when it comes out, I hope the bring Yoshi story to virtual console too!!
