^ That
Isn't it 80 extra levels for NSMBU? Also, looks very very placeholder. Max price, last day of the year.
Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

I was once known here as KillerMario, but since I really like Banjo-Kazooie, I changed my display name to show them my respect

Hmm, perhaps they will also be selling this disc based (physical copy). Placeholder prices are usually exaggerated . Why would Amazon have this listed... if it was only DLC it would be on the eshop and that's it...
If it does come out as a physical copy as well, i will pick that up as I prefer it, especially for collectors.
2nd thought, they might be selling it DLC for those who own NSMB U, at a reduced cost, and then selling this (physical) to those who may not own NSMBU . Would make sense.

Amazon sell Steam codes, maybe they've started selling eShop codes now too.
It won't be on disc, it's DLC.

So people who don't own NSMBU will be able to purchase and play this?

New Super Mario Bros. 2

Probably not, although it was just a thought seeing it up on Amazon. If this would be true, it would justify a higher price. Those who own NSMBU would pay less for the DLC pack.
This is all hypothetical. Read Nollog's post above, as Amazon could be selling the code for the DLC. Time will tell.

It won't be on disc, it's DLC.
Why not? Undead Nightmare was disc, or became disk after a while I dunno

Only reason being is Nintendo announced it would be DLC and made no mention of it being available in any other form, that's not to say it won't be a disc too. But we ONLY know about DLC currently.

I don't think that's likely unless its being released as a stand alone rather then DLC like Far Cry: Blood Dragons was on PSN and Xbox Live.

If it's DLC it definitely won''t be 60.

If indeed there`s a retail release, it could be possible to play without the original game.
Normally a DLC doesn`t get a retail release.
They might be doing this because it`s basically a new game with a new character.
Consumers seem to be liking Luigi`s 3DS game, so this could be a good way to attract those customers, too.

This is clearly a misunderstanding, $60 for the same game with different and harder levels? I don't think so.

agree with everyone above, because yes it is DLC, I'm thinking for $40, but is it possible nintendo is also doing a retail release?
maybe a Super Luigi U as a collectors item with some little figurine bonus or something?
