-Nintendo & Sega announcing WORLD WIDE partnership and are planning to make 3 upcoming  Sonic games exclusively to Wii U and somewhat 3DS

-Showed off Game & Wario's Gameplay, releasing June 23 only $39.99 (It actually looks pretty cool)

 

-New Super Luigi U will have both retail for $30.00 and digital download for $20 on August 25th

 

-Wonderful 101 hits store shelves September 15th.

 

-Pikmin 3 will have 3 Captains named Alph, Brittany and Charlie (In short, ABC) and a somewhat casual mode and good use of the gamepad called KopPad in Pikmin 3.

 

 

-Nintendo & Best Buy are teaming up for Best Buy having exclusive Nintendo games showed off at E3 (The New 3D Mario, Mario Kart U) will be playable at selected Best Buys for the United States and Canada.

 

UPDATE:

 

-Nintendo Direct  / Sega Direct of Japan announced Yakuza 1 & 2 HD release only for Wii U on August 8th, no word on world wide release and Project Mirai 2 is coming to the 3DS.

Japan got Yakuza 1 & 2 HD collection for Wii-U.

 

 

Yakuza 1 & 2 HD will bundle the first two games in the open-world crime series for Wii U, it was just announced on the Japanese stream of today's Nintendo Direct press conference.

 

A trailer for the game shown on the stream showcased some of the upscaled graphics players can expect from the bundle, as well as some of the Wii U-exclusive elements for the platform. Players will be able to monitor their character's status, and navigate through the game's complex streets using a map on the Wii U GamePad.

I'm not excited about Mario amd Sonic at the Olympics at all: they should have done one for Summer games, and one for Winter games. A third and fourth one shouldn't have to exist.

Lost Worlds intrigues me.

 

Hopefully, it is a AAA effort from Sega.  Obviously, the other game is a fun, but not amazing type of game.

 

I'd like to see Sega give Mario 3D a run for its money.

 

Also... I feel funny saying this since I have never been a fan of Pikmin, but wow.  I am impressed.  Not only does it look designed by geniuses in terms of levels and formulas, but it looks like a true next gen masterpiece, especially considering the vast variety of gameplay dynamics involved.  Not only does Pikmin not seem to be a graphical showcase "type" of game, but it appears that Nintendo has cranked up the graphics dial on an already good looking game comapared to last E3.  This game appears to be a graphics showcase.  lots of complex geometry, amazing textures, and some very interesting shaders at work. Looks like Killzone 4 if Kirby was the star. LOL.

 

Now I am dreaming of a Zelda game with Hyrule jungles looking like this...

On another note, it's awesome to see Nintendo and Sega so tight.

 

Sega knows what is good for the industry and what isn't.

 

I think they know Nintendo is good for the industry.

 

I also wonder if EA's idiot moves have much to do with Sega taking the plunge.

 

If EA is trying to kill off interest in Nintendo, Sega just gave them Knuckles sandwich (pun intended). LOL

Or a simpler way: beg for the game on the Miiverse. That's how Earthbound got to announced to be localized much earlier than Xenoblade.

Sega is bringing Sonic, Yakuza, and rumored Skies of Arcadia sequel.
