-The new Xbox is officially called 'Xbox One'

 

-They showed the console and its new controller and it looks really impressive

-Xbox One can quickly respond to your voice switching from a game on your screen, to TV, sports teams, ect.

 

-It will allow video chat while playing a game.

 

-The console will have 15 exclusives in the first year of Xbox one

 

-They showed a new IP called 'Quantum Break'

 

-Halo will have a television series directed by Steven Spielberg.

 

-Call of Duty Ghost will launch exclusively on Xbox one first. They showed the new technology (ITS ABOUT TIME) such as graphical textures and will have a dog companion that can sniff out landmines and stuff like that.

 

Overall......I think it was impressive technology wise, everything else seems a bit off, they focused too much on TV and sports more than games.

It`s funny how the best things about this conference and Sony`s is hasn`t been the games, but the media/social features. In the games department, the only thing impressive was the CoD game.

 

The console itself looks as big as the fat PS3.

Of course, there were great news: Halo series, the ability to record stuff to the console and the 15 games coming in it`s first year.

So, there`s a fee to play used games (Could this be the real reason to why EA left Wii U?) and you have to have a Kinect to use the console. How much is this thing going to cost?

I agree, but it's too premature to judge until we see the launch lineup for both consoles. PS4 doesn't have too much of my interest, just Knack and Infamous Second Son. XBO has nothing for me, unless they decide to make a game about a certain bear and bird.....

the wii u has been out for ages,  its a known fact the wii u has a poor selection of games even now.  and xbox one is getting 15 exclusives inb the first year, not to mention full backing from the 3rd party developers and its not even out yet!

The Wii U hasn't even been out for a year. Relax. I'm excited for the Xbox One as well, but I doubt the PS4 or Xbox One will keep a steady stream of games throughout the year. I don't remember any console doing that. It takes a while to build a decent library.

And you know what the wii u has Watch Dogs, splinter cell and more third party games coming this year too.

I would assume that Wii U will have about that many exclusives by the end of its first year based on what's already out and what's been predicted.
