Officially? This had been in construction for like a year now. 

Looks cool, the part I don't like about Universal is that they're CONSTANTLY swapping their attractions. It kinda disappoints me to see old rides go. But I see they're still capitalizing off of that Harry Potter World idea. It worked very well for them in 2010, I doubt this will have much of an effect to the attendance rates in the park. 

 

Maybe my opinion is a bit biased because I'm a bit angry at them because they got rid of the Jaws ride and I prefer Seaworld. Just how I feel though..

I read the title as Universal Orlando was changing its name to "Simpsons Land".

Sounds pretty cool, especially with Kang and Kodos. I do wish that they would bring back some of the older rides with some freshing up done, like how Disney does with their rides.
